The Board of Directors of China Futures Association consists of member directors, special member directors and non-member directors.
. Member directors are jointly proposed by the board of directors or more than one-fifth of the members and special members, and elected by the general meeting of members. Special members are ex-officio members of the association. Non-member directors shall be appointed by China Securities Regulatory Commission, and non-member directors shall not exceed a quarter of the total number of directors. The term of office of the directors is four years, and they may be re-elected.
The Council shall meet at least once a year.
Professional Committee:
1, R&D Committee
The main responsibilities of the R&D committee are:
1) scientific research projects and strategic development planning of the association.
2) On behalf of members, reflect the development and requirements of the futures market to the legislature, the judiciary and the regulatory authorities, and put forward opinions and suggestions to the board of directors.
3) Provide opinions and suggestions for the board of directors on the follow-up vocational training of futures practitioners.
2. Employees' Industry Supervision Committee
The main duties of the Employee Conduct Supervision Committee are:
1) Put forward punishment suggestions for futures practitioners' violations.
2) Put forward opinions and suggestions to the Board of Directors on the formulation and revision of Rules such as Code of Conduct for Employees in Futures Industry and Code of Ethics for Employees in Futures Industry.
3) Put forward opinions and suggestions to the Council on the work related to the behavior supervision of employees of the Association.
3. Legal Committee
The main duties of the Law Committee are:
1) Promote the construction of laws and regulations on the futures market, and make suggestions for the legislature and regulatory authorities.
2) Organize hearings to mediate futures disputes.
3) Provide legal support.
4) Provide professional futures consulting and definition services for judicial organs.
5) Provide opinions and suggestions to the Council on the formulation and revision of relevant legal rules and procedures of the Association.
