Fiberboard is made of plant fiber as the main raw material through thermal grinding, sizing, paving, hot pressing and other processes. Fiberboard has different densities. The density below 450kg/m3 is called low density fiberboard, the density between 450-800kg/m3 is called medium density fiberboard (MDF), and the density above 800kg/m3 is called hard fiberboard (HDF). Advantages:

Disadvantages:

A, fiberboard has poor moisture resistance and large expansion coefficient after water absorption.

B, the inside of the fiberboard is in a powdery structure, the nail holding force is poor, and the screws are easy to loosen after being tightened.

C, because the strength of fiberboard is not high, the height of furniture should not be too high, mostly 2100 mm.

E, in the production of fiberboard, due to its internal structural characteristics, the amount of glue used is large, and the environmental protection coefficient is low to some extent.
