Southwestern University of Finance and Economics is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and a national key construction university of "2 1 1 project". Securities and Futures College was established on September 28th, 2008 as the only professional college in China to train securities and futures talents in full-time higher education. It is a secondary college of full-time undergraduate and postgraduate education under Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. Professor Zhou Zhengqing, former chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission, served as honorary president of the College. The college implements the school-enterprise cooperation mode and has a college board of directors.
