China Construction Eighth Bureau, the full name of China Construction Eighth Bureau, is a state-owned large-scale construction backbone enterprise group affiliated to China State Construction Engineering Corporation, headquartered in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, formerly an enterprise directly under the Ministry of Construction. Founded in 1952, 1966 was reorganized into an infrastructure engineer by the order of the Central Military Commission and the State Council, 1983 was collectively reorganized into a current enterprise, and 1998 moved its headquarters from Jinan, Shandong to Pudong, Shanghai. China Construction Eighth Bureau has six wholly-owned or holding subsidiaries with first-class qualification and 1 special qualification, two design institutes with first-class qualification and seven regional business divisions (direct-operated companies). China Construction Eighth Bureau has successively won the titles of "National Customer Satisfaction Enterprise", "National Advanced Construction Enterprise with Quality and Benefit", "National Contract-abiding and Credit-keeping Enterprise", "China Integrity Management Enterprise", "National Excellent Construction Enterprise with Project Management Experience in Lubuge", "National Excellent Enterprise in Promoting Project Management", "National Excellent Enterprise in Ideological and Political Work" and "National Advanced Enterprise in Corporate Culture Construction".
