The function of the Precious Metals Business Center of Bank of China is to co-ordinate and manage the transactions of physical gold, paper gold, gold futures and derivatives, as well as other precious metals related businesses such as silver.
Bank of China is the only commercial bank member of LBMA (London Gold and Silver Market Association) in China. BOC engages in 24-hour precious metal business in three international gold trading centers, namely London, Hongkong and new york, spanning three time zones of Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America. Business types include spot gold trading, gold deposit, gold leasing and precious metal derivatives such as gold forward trading, gold swap trading and gold option trading.
Precious metal extension: the trading time shall be uniformly stipulated by Shanghai Gold Exchange, and all banks engaged in precious metal extension business shall conduct transactions according to this trading time: (except national statutory holidays and closed days announced by the Exchange).
Trading time: every day 10 hour.
Morning session: 09: 00- 1 1: 30.
Noon: 13: 30- 15: 30
Night discount: 2 1: 00-02: 30 (no night discount on Friday)

BOC Huang Jinbao: It is open 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday.
