EA is a software specially written for MetaTrader platform. EA can advise traders to trade, or it can automatically execute account trading through programming. We usually refer to the latter.
So what is EA?
EA is to use a special programming language (MQL) to write your own or someone else's strategy of foreign exchange into a computer software program, and let the computer automatically buy and sell for you according to your preset conditions. Of course, the profit and loss results depend on the design of your automatic trading system.
The main execution process of EA can be divided into: mark-open-mark-close, and so on.
An EA mainly includes three elements: order execution, risk management and fund management.
Order execution: when to enter the market to place an order and when to close the position and sell it, mainly depends on the combination of indicators.
Risk management: both risk management and fund management are very important in foreign exchange transactions. Risk management is usually to set stop loss and take profit.
Fund management: Fund management is position management. How many orders are placed at a time? Is it a fixed number or is it based on a proportion of total funds?
