What's the difference between aviation oil and automobile oil?
The differences between aviation oil and automobile oil are as follows:

1, lead content is different.

Aviation gasoline has a high grade, and tetraethyl lead is added to aviation gasoline as an antiknock agent.

Now cars are unleaded gasoline. Burning leaded gasoline will produce heavy metal pollutants.

2. Different treatment methods

The processing equipment of jet fuel is mainly aviation piston engine. The working principle of aviation piston engine is the same as that of ordinary automobile engine, but it has high power and light weight, so the quality requirements of aviation gasoline are similar to those of automobile gasoline. At present, this kind of engine is only used for some auxiliary aircraft, such as helicopters, communication machines, meteorological machines and so on. Therefore, the corresponding aviation gasoline consumption is also greatly reduced.

The treatment equipment of automobile oil is mainly turbojet engine. This kind of engine propels the car forward and generates thrust by converting fuel combustion into gas. The fuel used is called jet fuel.

3, the operation process is different

After settling for a certain period of time, the free impurities and moisture contained in jet fuel sink to the bottom of the tank, and then the oil is sucked into the oil pump from top to bottom by the floating suction pipe, pressurized and transported to the oil tank of the oil depot near the apron.

After passing the test, automobile oil can be loaded into a special tanker, driven under the wing of the aircraft and added to its fuel tank; Or add the oil pipeline laid under the apron to the aircraft fuel tank through special oil transportation facilities. Jet fuel is unloaded from the tanker and added to the aircraft fuel tank. Generally, the whole process should be filtered more than three times to remove impurities and moisture.
