Futures investment threshold
1. Is there a capital threshold for the futures account?

There is no capital threshold for participating in the futures market itself. You only need your ID card and bank card to open a futures account, and then you can participate in most futures transactions.

However, for special varieties such as stock index, crude oil and PTA, the exchange has set the entry threshold and has some special requirements.

For example, a stock index futures account must meet the following four conditions:

1, and the funds in the futures account shall not be less than 500,000 yuan.

2. I participated in the study of the basic knowledge of stock index futures, and I need to pass the relevant written test of CICC.

Have participated in one-handed operation of commodity futures 10 within 3.3 years or have more than 20 simulated trading of stock index futures 10 trading days.

4. No bad credit record, and passed the investor's suitability review and evaluation.

When you need to open the trading authority of these special varieties, you can consult your own futures company.

Second, are the funds in the futures account safe?

The futures industry is a rigorous and standardized industry. The trading market is dominated by the state, and futures companies are formal, legal and transparent. Customers directly open an account with a futures company, and then handle the third-party custody of the bank after opening the account. Your funds are in your own account, and you can only deposit and withdraw money from the bank card. Nobody touches your funds. Even if the futures company goes bankrupt due to poor management, the CSRC will transfer its customers to other futures companies, and the safety of funds is absolutely guaranteed.
