PVC is an important organic synthetic material. Its products have good physical and chemical properties and are widely used in industry, construction, agriculture, daily life packaging, electricity, public utilities and other fields.

1. Basic characteristics of PVC

PVC is a nontoxic and odorless white powder. High chemical stability and good plasticity. Excellent electrical insulation, generally will not burn.

According to the product classification, PVC belongs to the synthetic resin category among the three major synthetic materials (synthetic resin, synthetic fiber and synthetic rubber), and the synthetic resin category includes five general resins: polyethylene PE, polyvinyl chloride PVC, polypropylene PP, polystyrene PS and ABS resin.

2. Application of PVC

Mainly used in building doors and windows, drainage pipes, wires and cables, film packaging and other fields.

(1) Soft products: mainly include wires and cables, various films (according to different thicknesses, they can be divided into calendered films, waterproof coiled materials, folding doors, etc. ), floor materials, fabric coatings, artificial leather, various hoses, gloves, toys, plastic shoes, and some special paints and sealants.

(2) Hard products: represented by doors and windows, various profiles and pipes, hard plates, bottles and other products.
