Custom directory format adjustment

If you are not satisfied with the default directory format, you need to customize it. Click Reference-Contents-Insert Contents.

There are many options for setting the directory format, such as whether to display the page, whether the page is right-aligned, how many levels to display tabs, and so on.

You can also set the font size and format of the directory, as shown in the figure. Click Modify-Select the directory to modify-Click Modify to see the adjustment of related fonts, spacing and other related formats. Click OK after customizing the changes.

After completing all the custom settings, click OK, and a replacement prompt box will appear in the place just listed. Just click "Yes".

But don't be too happy, you may find that the format of the automatically generated directory is not quite what you expected, such as too large line spacing and too small font. You can reset the directory at this time. Move the cursor to any position in front of the table of contents, and then repeat Insert-Reference-Index and Table of Contents. At this time, you will find that the format has changed to From Template, and then click Modify on the right. In the pop-up dialog box, modify the format of directory 1 and directory 2. 5. As for whether the line spacing of the table of contents is too large or too small, you can only select the whole table of contents, and then set the line spacing in Format-Paragraph, just like the way of editing text, so don't bother.
