Swap transaction refers to the combination of two or more foreign exchange transactions with the same currency, the same amount but opposite directions and different delivery periods, that is, when buying foreign exchange, the currency with the same amount is sold at the same time, and the delivery dates are different. The main purpose of swap transaction is to stabilize the capital gap caused by different currency maturities. Repurchase transaction is a way of pledging loans, which is usually used for national debt. Generally divided into treasury bond repurchase transactions, bond repurchase transactions, securities repurchase transactions and pledged repo transactions.
