Common specifications of 6CrW2Si
Common specifications of 6CrW2Si are 30/35/40/45/50/55/60mm.

6CrW2Si is made of impact-resistant tool steel.

Brand: 6CrW2Si

Implementation standard: GB/T 1299-2000.

Introduction to 6CrW2Si:

6CrW2Si is a steel grade formed by adding a certain amount of tungsten on the basis of Cr-Si steel, because tungsten helps to preserve finer grains during quenching, thus obtaining higher toughness in tempered state.

6CrW2Si steel has higher quenching hardness and certain high temperature strength than 4CrW2Si steel and 5CrW2Si steel. It is usually used to make tools that bear impact load and require high wear resistance, such as pneumatic tools, chisels and stamping dies, blades for cold shearing, female die for blanking edges, air hammer tools, etc.
