Agent's name: This is for easy memory. Just enter a name.
Server: This is the IP address of the proxy server.
Port: Fill in according to the port opened by the proxy server we found.
Type: Select according to the type of proxy server we found.
User name and password: fill in if there is one, and leave it blank if there is no one.
Using IE proxy: The steps of using proxy server are (we take IE5 as an example):
A. open the browser IE5；;
B. Select tools-"Internet options,
C. Click "Internet Options" with the left mouse button.
D. Click the "Connect" tab in Figure 2 above,
E. In the "Dialing Settings" in Figure 3, make sure that the connection you are using now is the one you want to use the proxy server. In general, you don't need to move, and then click the "Settings" button on the right.
F. Click the left mouse button in the white box under "proxy server" and before "use proxy server" in Figure 4, and put a check mark on it, indicating that you use a browser to access through the proxy server. Enter the address and port number of the proxy server in the address bar below. You can go to the proxy server publishing station to find the proxy server. The latest proxy server list is available. For example, if we find a proxy server that says:158.43.128.51:3128 @ http, then the IP address of this proxy server is:158.43./kloc-. The 3 128 after the colon in the above writing method is the port number, so you only need to fill in the 3 128 of the port in Figure 4 above, and the @HTTP at the back means supporting the HTTP protocol, that is, this proxy server supports web access, so you don't have to fill it in anywhere, just know.
G after filling out the form, just press "OK"-"OK", and then you can enter the URL of the website you want to visit in the address bar of the browser. If you don't use the proxy server from now on, you can't open it now, mostly because the proxy server is closed, so you can change it. Of course, you can try a few more times and find a faster proxy server to use. It must be noted that the proxy server may be shut down after a while. When you can't open the website, you may need to change the proxy server. The method is to remove the proxy server according to the above steps, find the latest proxy server at the proxy server publishing station, and then fill it in.
