What does PT stock mean?
PT is the abbreviation of English ParticularTransfer. According to the Company Law and the Securities Law, if a listed company loses money for three consecutive years, its listing will be suspended.

On July 9th, 1999, the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges implemented special transfer service for such suspended stocks, referred to as PT stocks for short.

The rise and fall of PT stock is not included in the index, and the trading data is not included in the market statistics. Therefore, the daily limit and daily limit of PT shares have nothing to do with the index.

During the existence of PT shares, the company's other rights and obligations remain unchanged, and the agreed transfer of non-tradable shares and the priced acquisition of tradable shares are still implemented in accordance with the provisions of the exchange. In addition, the entrustment method, handling fee and related expenses, and delivery method are the same as those of stock trading.

Does PT stock still exist? Not here. On May, 2002, trading of PT stock stopped.
