Rapeseed meal is the residue after rapeseed oil leaching. Rapeseed is one of the main oil crops in China, and 95% of rapeseed in China is used to produce edible oil. There are two common oil pressing technologies for rapeseed: dynamic rotary pressing and pre-pressing leaching. The by-product of the former is rapeseed cake, and the by-product of the latter is rapeseed meal. Pre-pressed mustard seed destroys its structure, and then it is leached with alcohol, so that all rapeseed oil in it is dissolved in alcohol. The filtered filter cake is dried to recover alcohol, and the rest is rapeseed meal. Its crude protein content should be above 32% and crude fiber content should be below 65438 02%. Rapeseed meal is rich in protein and can be used as feed, but it contains some toxins. So the content of rapeseed meal in feed should not be added too much.
