WTI crude oil is American crude oil, which is traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Intermediate crude oil produced in West Texas, also known as Texas light crude oil, is the benchmark oil of American crude oil futures, commonly known as NYMEXWTI.

Brent crude oil traded in London commodity futures market belongs to North Sea crude oil. At present, except for some crude oil in the Middle East and the Far East, most crude oil in the world is priced by dtdbrent.

SC crude oil is listed in Shanghai International Energy Exchange Center, and the delivery grade is medium sulfur crude oil. Its reference mass is API degree 32 and sulfur content is 1.5%. The specific types of deliverable oil products and premiums shall be separately stipulated by Shanghai International Energy Center.
