Rapeseed oil is a national standard in People's Republic of China (PRC), which is under the centralized management of the National Grain and Oil Standardization Technical Committee.

Rapeseed oil stipulates the terms and definitions, classification, quality requirements, inspection methods and rules, labeling, packaging, storage and transportation requirements of rapeseed oil. This standard is applicable to pressed rapeseed oil, leached rapeseed oil and rapeseed crude oil. The quality index of rapeseed crude oil is only applicable to rapeseed crude oil trade.

Compilation process:

In 2002, the national standard plan rapeseed oil (20020495-Q-449) was released and drafted by 449 (China State Grain and Material Reserve Bureau). The national standard information service platform shows that the plan has been publicized, drafted, solicited, reviewed, passed and published online.

On August 3, 2004, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China and the National Standardization Administration of China issued the national standard for rapeseed oil (GB/T 1536-2004).

On February/October, 2005, the national standard Rapeseed Oil (GB/T 1 536-2004) was implemented, which completely replaced the standard of Rapeseed Oil (GB 1536- 1986).

In May 2022 1, the national standard rapeseed oil (GB/T 1536-202 1) was implemented, which completely replaced the standard rapeseed oil (GB/T 1536-2004).
