The first stage is to "see yourself clearly": you should understand your own strengths and limitations, know what you want and what you can't stand, and constantly get out of your comfort zone and expand your abilities.
The second stage is "seeing the world": with this understanding of yourself on the road, you will be hit hard, and you will begin to understand the trend of the times, the rules of society and the possibility of life.
The third stage is "meeting all sentient beings": when a master has been a master for a long time and reached a certain level, he must find ways to spread what he has learned, understood and adhered to and help more people, thus turning the master into a generation of masters.
Look at my friends and colleagues around me and myself, most of them are in the first and second stages, and few of them really become masters in the third stage. Although they are all the first and second stages, they are also very different in the same stage. Some are plain and unremarkable, while others have a successful career and a happy life.
Think back to my classmates in primary school, middle school and university. Everyone was on the same starting line at the beginning. Why do their living conditions differ greatly after entering the society for many years? Obviously, I also work hard and seriously, but my life is still very tight and uncomfortable, let alone rich and free, while others work easily and live comfortably. What is the reason for such a big difference? It's not just an effort, but also a choice again and again. They grasped the trend of social development, made use of certain laws, combined with their own situation, and achieved success after repeated choices.
Almost all the real masters in this era have a characteristic-they know how to drive themselves to make continuous efforts and accumulation, and also know how to amplify the benefits of their efforts with the help of social and technological trends. The most obvious common feature of all these people who have made great achievements is their staged nonlinear growth and leap-forward rise. Every few years, they suddenly go to a new level, with completely different horizons, concepts, abilities, resources and social status. This is the result of personal efforts magnified by law.
Companions are detestable. No matter whether we are experts or not, at what stage, we still have to recognize the reality and face it calmly. Since we can't achieve as much as others, it's better to do what is in front of us and live a good life in front of us. It's no use complaining about others and giving up on yourself. Before we regret our life, we should try our best to improve the quality of life.
