19 19 After the May 4th Movement broke out, Chen Yuhou actively participated in the anti-imperialist and anti-feudal struggle, participated in the 13th Student Union in Qiongya, and publicized new ideas and new cultures. In the autumn of the same year, after Chen Yuhou graduated, he was appointed as the principal of Qiongdong Gavin Primary School. He often propagandizes patriotic thoughts to students and social youth and exposes social darkness. 192 1 winter, Chen Yuhou resigned as the principal, went home to plant crops such as rubber, betel nut and puzzle, and opened a small grocery store near the village as a place to spread revolutionary ideas. 1924 Spring, Jiaji Vocational School of Agriculture and Industry opened, and Chen Yuhou was appointed as a teacher by Wang Dapeng, the elected county magistrate of Qiongdong County. Influenced by the revolutionary storm, Chen Yuhou went to Guangzhou, the center of the Great Revolution, systematically studied revolutionary theory, and further improved his ideological consciousness. 1926 joined China.
1April 927 12, Chiang Kai-shek launched a counter-revolutionary coup, massacring the people and the revolutionary masses, and local party organizations were forced to turn into secret activities. Chen Yuhou was sent back to Qiongya by Guangdong District Committee of CPC to organize armed struggle. After arriving in Qiong, he was sent to Ding 'an District 5 (now Wanquan and Shibi Town, qionghai city) on the south side of Murui Mountain to carry out revolutionary activities. Taking Guangyao Village as the contact point, we successively developed revolutionary ranks with Liang Bingshu, Wang Huidong, Zhou Dianmo, Lin Tiande and Yao Guoqiang, collected guns and ammunition, expanded our armed forces, and cracked down on reactionary vigilante groups in Qiongdong and Ding 'an. He often leads his troops to attack and ambush garrison strongholds such as Jiaji, Lingkou and Wen Qu, and his tactics are ingenious. The leader of the reactionary vigilante group hated Chen Yuhou so much that he posted notices everywhere to arrest him, claiming that "those who caught Chen Yuhou were rewarded with 1000 Yang guang, and those who beheaded them were rewarded with 500 Yang guang", and threatened to destroy his hometown Guangyao Village.
March 20th, 1928, Gan Jiachu, Liang Zhenqiu, Li et al. The enemy troops on the defensive in Jiaji City gathered at Lingkou and Yezizhai strongholds and "surrounded" Guangyao Village in three ways. Chen Yuhou led the Red Army troops to take advantage of favorable terrain and fought fiercely with the enemy for a whole day. Six people were killed or injured by the enemy, and more than 20 people were killed or injured by us. When the enemy was outnumbered and our army's weapons and equipment were superior to ours, Chen Yuhou led his troops to retreat and moved to the 36-hole mountain area to rest. The ferocious enemy created a shocking "glorious tragedy", shot and killed his wife Wang and other 32 innocent farmers, set fire to three houses in his family and 120 houses in the village, and took away a lot of property and livestock.
1August, 928 12, Chen Yuhou attended the first workers, peasants and soldiers congress of Qiongya held by the Qiongya Special Committee of the Communist Party of China in Gaolang Village, fourth area, Le Hui (now qionghai city). The meeting established the Qiongya Soviet government, and Chen Yuhou was elected as a member, responsible for financial work. After the promulgation and implementation of the Temporary Land Law and the Industrial and Commercial Tax Regulations drafted by him, they were warmly supported by the people. 165438+ 10, the enlarged meeting of Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China determined the wrong policy of taking the city as the work center. It is believed that the reason why the Red Army's struggle against "encirclement and suppression" in Qiongya was frustrated is that the city's labor and military transport were not done well, and the Qiongya Special Committee was asked to move to Haikou. Chen Yuhou, Wang Wenming and Liang Bingshu insisted on staying in the rural revolutionary base areas to continue their struggle. At the end of the same year, Chen Yuhou, Wang Wenming, Liang Bingshu and other Soviet government agencies and Red Army leaders Qiong Ya overcame all kinds of difficulties and interference and entered Murui Mountain in Ding 'an County, opening up a new revolutionary base. Murui Mountain has dense forests, dangerous terrain and lack of food. Chen Yuhou had to mobilize cadres and soldiers to pick wild vegetables and wild fruits to satisfy their hunger. Life is very difficult because of the harsh environment and many patients. Seeing this, Chen Yuhou decided to secretly go home and sell 3 mu of rice fields and 65,438,000 rubber and betel nuts, totaling 600 Yang guang. He took Muruishan as the cost of running a small arsenal and hospital and solving temporary difficulties in life, and also took his eldest son Chen Shaojian to Muruishan to participate in the revolution. The Soviet government of Qiongya held an emergency meeting in the border town on the north side of Murui Mountain. At the meeting, Chen Yuhou put forward three suggestions: expanding the revolutionary base areas and winning the support of the masses; Do it yourself, open up wasteland for production and save yourself; Establish a rear hospital. Wang Wenming and others took his advice and set up three farms. Chen Yuhou also personally led a team to expand the Soviet governments in six towns and villages in the north and west of Murui Mountain, such as Wennan, Dashan, Banghao, Gunsan, Floating Nanyang and Nanmian Mountain. Under his guidance, Floating Nanyang became the "rear granary" of Murui Mountain.
1June, 930, Wang Wenming, chairman of the Qiongya Soviet government, passed away. At the memorial service for the martyrs in Wang Wenming, Chen Yuhou called on all the soldiers and civilians to turn grief into strength, unite as one, crack down on the enemy and strive for new victories. His words stabilized the morale of the army, and with the efforts of all the soldiers and civilians, dozens of miles of Murui Mountain in Fiona Fang were put on new clothes. Barracks, schools, arsenals, hospitals, farms, consumer clubs and theaters have been built.
1In August, 932, Chen Hanguang Brigade, a reactionary Kuomintang army, invaded Qiongya and "encircled" Muruishan revolutionary base. On September 13, Chen Yuhou's son, Chen Shaojian, chairman of the Children's League, was shot while reporting the mass transfer. On the same day, when Chen Yuhou fought against the enemy in Shanpowei Village, Nanmian, he ran out of bullets and fell in a pool of blood when fighting with the enemy. His head was cut off by the enemy and he was rewarded at the age of 43.
