In 2000, MetaQuotes Software Company launched the first generation of professional online trading system, FX Chart. This platform is suitable for the foreign exchange market. In 2002, MetaQuotes Software Company launched the third generation online trading system ---MetaTrader. This system also works in the futures market. In 2003, MetaQuotes became one of the pioneers in trading using mobile phones - MetaTrader CE and MetaTrader for Palm.

July 1, 2005 MetaQuotes Software Company has launched the latest and newest trading system - MetaTrader 4. It includes all the features of the previous system and further introduces and reorganizes these functions and components. It is suitable for Forex, CFD and futures markets. The MetaTrader 4 server is clearly superior to earlier systems in terms of usage, performance, and reliability.
