2. Virus Laboratory: The main research direction is the laboratory diagnosis technology and pathogenesis of common viral diseases in pediatrics. The main content of the work is to study the correlation between children's respiratory virus, enterovirus, cytomegalovirus infection and neonatal hepatitis. Since 1988, many rapid virus diagnosis techniques and molecular biology techniques have been developed for virus diagnosis and research. At present, it undertakes the project of Ministry of Health and Beijing Municipal Health Bureau, cooperates with China and Beijing CDC, and is currently conducting the Study on Clinical and Laboratory Characteristics of Children SARS in Beijing. 3. Immunology laboratory: the focus of work is the clinical experimental diagnosis and pathogenesis research of connective tissue diseases and immunodeficiency diseases in children; Our laboratory is a professional laboratory for children's connective tissue diseases and four research centers for early immunodeficiency in China. The genetic susceptibility, cellular and subcellular balance, protein characteristics and autoantibodies of various connective tissue diseases in children were studied and determined. For more than ten years, the professors in the research room have regularly treated tens of thousands of children with various connective tissue diseases and childhood immunodeficiency diseases in experts and specialties, enjoying a high reputation at home and abroad. 4. Clinical Nutrition Center: The key research direction is the molecular pathogenesis of childhood obesity in China. Besides cloning obesity gene and efficiently purifying and expressing its protein products, the research on adipose tissue apoptosis was also carried out. These two studies will have a deeper understanding of the pathogenesis of obesity, and their products have positive significance for controlling the excessive proliferation of adipose tissue. In addition, the epidemiological study of children's blood lead level and lead exposure and the observation study of non-drug lead drive intervention were carried out. Respiratory Function Research Office and Children's Asthma Prevention and Treatment Research Center: With the research direction of new trends, new methods, new technologies and pathogenesis of bronchial asthma prevention and treatment, they have the academic level and technical conditions to guide master's and doctoral students and train advanced doctors in this city and even the whole country. 6. Pediatric fiberoptic bronchoscopy diagnosis and treatment center: engaged in the scientific research and clinical work of bronchoscopy, established a set of safe and practical methods such as anesthesia of pediatric fiberoptic bronchoscopy and local interventional therapy of bronchus and lung, greatly expanded the application of fiberoptic bronchoscopy in pediatrics, and has successfully performed more than 1, fiberoptic bronchoscopy examinations and treatments for nearly 7 children aged from 5 days to 14 years. It has solved many problems in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult diseases in this city and all over the country, reduced the disability rate and mortality rate of children, improved the diagnosis and treatment level of pediatric diseases, and walked in the forefront of the country.
7. Radioimmunoassay Center: The Radioimmunoassay Center was originally the isotope research room of the Institute of Pediatrics. In 1988, it established the "Beijing Radioimmunoassay Center" in cooperation with China Isotope Company, and accepted all kinds of specimens submitted by our hospital and other hospitals. At present, there are more than 2 testing items, including ADH, CamP and other items to fill the gaps in this city, PTH, PRA AⅡ ⅱ and other items to fill the gaps in our hospital. The income of the Radioimmunoassay center is accounted separately. 8. central laboratory: the work center is a bridge between clinical and applied basic medical research, which opens a green channel between clinical and basic medical research and is open to the whole hospital, providing experimental conditions, experimental techniques and high-quality scientific research services necessary for the current scientific research work in our hospital, and laying a good foundation for our hospital to declare national scientific research projects. The goal is to establish a molecular biology laboratory with a certain scale and modernization, which can complete the research on disease-related genes. In 1982, in cooperation with the Institute of Blood and Hematology of Beijing People's Hospital, it successfully provided reliable HLA matching data for the first bone marrow transplant of leukemia patients in China, so it won the second prize of national scientific and technological progress, and thousands of organ transplant tissue matching have been completed so far.
