Cultivate leaders who promote education equity

By recruiting, arranging and training outstanding university graduates to teach in rural schools for two years, in response to the challenges of rural work and life, supplemented by training organized by projects and special personnel to follow up and guide them, they can understand the real rural education status and problems, think about solutions, exercise excellent quality and ability, enhance their mission, and no matter what kind of jobs they take in the future, they will pay attention to social equity and become an influence on China society. When the project develops to a certain scale, the volunteer teachers and the graduates who have been trained in the project for two years can form a force to promote education equity and social harmonious development in China. "Teach Future China" belongs to the UNESCO International Rural Education Research and Training Center, and it is a public welfare training project funded by social organizations such as foundations and individuals.

"Teach for China" draws lessons from the concept and successful experience of "Teach for the United States", sends outstanding university graduates to the countryside to engage in teaching for two years, and cooperates with continuous and systematic training to cultivate and assemble outstanding talents who care about education, so as to promote the progress of education in China!

Based on the successful experience of Teach for America for nearly 2 years and the actual situation in China, the implementation process of the project is as follows:

Publicity and recruitment

Pre-job training

Two-year teaching

* Arrange volunteers to serve as ordinary teachers in rural schools for two years

* Improve students' academic performance and educational opportunities

* Volunteers are coping with the harsh rural environment and work challenges. Exercise and grow up in the process of solving problems such as education and teaching

On-the-job continuous support training

* Hire a project supervisor to help volunteers find and solve problems

* Organize leadership training such as values, initiative, learning ability, thinking judgment, communication and cooperation

* When the project develops to a certain scale, teachers and volunteers who participate in and pay attention to the project can form a considerable number of alumni associations and make concerted efforts to form an effective force to promote education progress in China.

In November p>211, TFC launched the Alumni Association, which is mainly composed of volunteer teachers, trainers, enterprise managers and NGO (non-governmental organization) managers who have completed their service. They will provide volunteers with experience sharing, public welfare project docking and other support. * Plan and operate at least one public welfare project (including project construction document, work plan, financial budget and evaluation report, etc.) from the aspects of education reform or environmental transformation;

* Participate in team organization and management to improve their administrative ability. * sense of responsibility for work, society, country and the world, lead a meaningful life and realize your own value;

* The experience and sense of achievement of helping rural children get a good education;

* Learn to appreciate the surrounding environment (people and things), blend in, pay attention to and transform the environment;

* the spirit of scientific exploration and social investigation, expanding horizons;

* Correct attitude towards difficulties and prosperity, failure and success, criticism and appreciation;

* Ability to set goals, influence and motivate others, and find resources to achieve goals;

* Join the Alumni Association after teaching, and continue to get the support of the Alumni Association. *TFC projects choose schools suitable for teaching, and volunteer teachers can get guidance and help from the school;

* During working in school, living expenses and work subsidies shall be paid according to local standards;

* The TFC project provides 3-4 times of centralized training for volunteer teachers every year, and during the training period, the TFC project sponsors provide volunteers with living and transportation subsidies (if volunteers quit the project, they will not be entitled to this subsidy);

* One-month holiday every year, and the travel expenses and living allowance for returning home during the holiday are provided by TFC project sponsors. We are looking for people:

undergraduate graduates and graduate students (with any major) this year or within two years of graduation;

Recruiting volunteers requires

having a bachelor's degree or above, and being competent in teaching and class management of at least two subjects;

I have a strong sense of responsibility and am willing to work long hours for the sake of the school and students. We need the love of volunteers, but we also need to be conscientious as teachers;

actively integrate into the local area and quickly adapt to the local working and living environment;

Have team spirit, know how to accept others and cooperate with each other, and be good at communication. What you want to join is a team, communication is the first step;

Have organizational ability, can influence and inspire others, and actively participate in public welfare and community activities organized by the school;

I am eager to contribute to the improvement of children's education in backward areas and vulnerable groups. Volunteers who pass the project interview and after the probation period of the teaching school is over will sign agreements with the project team and the teaching school respectively to explain and guarantee the rights, responsibilities and obligations of the three parties;
