Top-level domain name * * * has two forms:

Country code top-level domain name (referred to as national top-level domain name) and generic top-level domain name. The country code top-level domain name indicates the country (e.g. Cn in China. We fight for America. Fr stands for France, etc. ); Generic top-level domain name means the domain name used by registrants and has no national characteristics.

Country code top-level domain names are managed by national Internet Information Centers (NICs), and generic international top-level domain names are managed by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), the world's highest domain name management organization in the United States.
