All passengers staying in Chinese mainland Airbnb (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan provinces), including domestic and foreign customers, are required to abide by local laws and regulations when using Airbnb, and collect the following information (similar to the practice of China hotel industry for decades):

1. Your name, phone number and email address.

2. Date of stay.

3. The news between you and the landlord.

4. Names, nationalities, passport numbers, identity card details and passport validity period of all tenants living in the property.

Government agencies in China may require Airbnb China to disclose the landlord, tenant and housing information related to booking houses in China. Similar to other hotels and accommodation companies operating in China, Airbnb China can disclose your information to the China government without notice.
