Handa has been committed to the rehabilitation of leprosy patients since the establishment of 1996. After years of development, its services have covered many aspects such as economy, society, psychology, education, infrastructure, medical assistance, physical rehabilitation and so on. After years of unremitting efforts, it has gradually gained more and more public understanding and support, and has gradually gained the support and recognition of the public and local media and foundations.

On 20 10, Handa won the Jet Li One Foundation Model Project Award.

20 10 won the "Public Action Award" issued by the first "Responsible China" Public Welfare Festival. The award is sponsored by Southern Metropolis Daily and Guangzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, and jointly sponsored by Guangdong Charity Federation, Du Nan Aitongxing Charity Foundation and Times Real Estate Charity Foundation.
