Cash dividend means that the company distributes cash to investors' accounts. After dividends, the market share of the fund property will not change, but the total market value will decrease, and the reduced part is just equivalent to dividends. Dividend reinvestment means that the company sends the fund subscription money to investors. After dividends, the subscription of funds owned by investors will increase, but the total market value will not change.

When the fund pays dividends, investors don't need to operate anything except to modify the dividend method. The system automatically distributes dividends according to the shares held by each person. If they want to sell the fund or are short of money recently, they should choose cash dividends and continue to be optimistic about the fund. They don't need to use this money to choose dividends for reinvestment.
