2010 is a critical year for my country's integrated circuit industry to connect the past and the next. It is a year to "sum up the achievements of the 11th Five-Year Plan and plan for the future of the 12th Five-Year Plan"; it is a year for the world's integrated circuit industry to recover strongly after the financial crisis and start a new round of growth. 1. Ten years of "core" creation - the golden decade (1) The scale of the industry has continued to expand, and the proportion of the three industries has gradually become more reasonable. In 2000, the total sales of my country's integrated circuit industry was only 18.62 billion yuan, and this year's sales are expected to reach 133 billion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 21.7%. The industry growth rate has always been higher than the growth rate of the global integrated circuit industry, and the international status of the industry continues to improve.

With the expansion of industry scale, my country's integrated circuit sales revenue accounted for 8.5% of the global integrated circuit market share from 1.2% in 2000 to 2009. During the same period, the global IC industry experienced prosperity and recession. The total output value in 2009 was the same as that in 2000. almost the same year.

The integrated circuit design industry has grown by leaps and bounds.

In 2000, the sales revenue of the design industry was only 1.1 billion yuan.

In 2009, the sales volume of the design industry reached 26.99 billion yuan, an increase of nearly 25 times compared with 2000.

In 2009, the sales revenue of the packaging and testing industry was 49.82 billion yuan, an increase of 3.9 times compared with 2000.

In 2009, the sales revenue of the manufacturing industry reached 34.1 billion yuan, an increase of 7.1 times compared with 2000.

While the scale continues to expand, my country's integrated circuit industry has transformed from packaging, testing and manufacturing as the main body to a relatively complete industrial chain pattern that supports the simultaneous development of IC design, chip manufacturing, packaging and testing industries, and supporting supporting industries. The proportion of the industry is gradually becoming more reasonable, and the overall supporting capabilities are increasing day by day.

In 2000, my country's IC design industry accounted for only 5.3% of the total industry output value, and the packaging and testing industry accounted for as high as 68.9%.

In 2009, the proportions of design, manufacturing, packaging and testing have changed to 24.3%, 30.7% and 45%, forming an industrial structure with the design industry as the leader, the packaging and testing industry as the main body, and manufacturing as the focus.

(2) The technical level continues to improve and intellectual property rights make breakthroughs. Over the past decade, the technical level of my country's integrated circuit industry has continued to improve.

In terms of the design industry, the design level of my country's integrated circuits has been mainly 0.8-1.5 microns in 2000. By this year, design companies generally have process levels below 0.13 microns and million-gate scale design capabilities. Leading companies such as HiSilicon have 45/ 40nm design capabilities, with a maximum design scale of more than 100 million gates.

In 2000, my country's best manufacturing process was only 0.25 micron. This year, SMIC's 12-inch production line has been able to mass-produce 65-nanometer chips, and the 45-nanometer process has entered early stage of research and development.

The upgrade of the "909" project was launched in Shanghai, which will use 90 nanometer, 65 nanometer and 45 nanometer processes to manufacture logic, flash memory and other chips.

Companies such as China Resources Shanghai have developed special processes such as high-voltage analog, digital-analog hybrid and power devices, which play a significant role in production.

The technical level of the packaging and testing industry has moved from low-end to mid-to-high-end. Traditional DIP, QFP and other packages have been put into mass production, and remarkable achievements have been made in the development and production of advanced packaging technologies such as SOP, PCA, BGA and SiP, and have formed

In the field of key equipment, major technical equipment such as 12-inch photolithography machines, large-angle ion implanters, and ion etching machines have made important breakthroughs during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period. Some equipment is already running on the production line, laying a solid foundation for industrial development.

With the improvement of technological level, the types of products designed by my country's local integrated circuit companies have continued to enrich, and product types have extended from low-end to mid-to-high-end, and have achieved group breakthroughs.

Mid-to-high-end chip products such as 2G/3G mobile communication chips, digital TV chips, application processors, computer and network chips, and information security chips are constantly emerging. Embedded CPUs represented by C*Core, XBurst, UnICore, etc. not only fill the domestic market

There is a gap in processor technology, and it is gradually approaching the international advanced level in terms of architecture and performance indicators.

In the past ten years, the intellectual property rights of my country's integrated circuit industry have made great progress, and the number and quality of patent applications in the fields of design, manufacturing, packaging, and testing have continued to make breakthroughs.
