Shen Ruimin is mainly engaged in the research and application of E-Learning. Aiming at the two core problems of narrowing the gap between the eastern and western education quality and building a learning society by using broadband/wireless network, this paper points out that the gap between the eastern and western education quality is largely accumulated by the gap of various courses, and * * * enjoys daily teaching at school, which finds a sustainable source for building a learning society and conforms to the learning habits of the public. On this basis, a new long-distance teaching mode based on real-time classroom, the basic unit of teaching, is realized. Satellite network and ground network transmission are integrated, and large-scale learners are classified and guided through self-organized communities, and large-scale practice is carried out.

Scientific research project: As the overall team leader, Shen Ruimin undertook the 200 1 central financial special major project of the Ministry of Education-"Key Technologies and Supporting Service System of Modern Distance Education", with the participation of 26 key universities in China, with a total fund of 32 million. The whole team consists of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Xi Jiaotong University, Tsinghua University, Peking University and CCTV. This project puts forward a brand-new teaching resource sharing model, which is the basic unit of teaching-real-time classroom sharing, and the transmission of heaven and earth is integrated.
