The World Children's Fund was founded in 1996, and its headquarters is located in San Jose, California, USA. It is mainly devoted to children's education and welfare around the world, and helps more vulnerable children in need through the international fund-raising and donation network. Dr. Lin Jinwu, the president, enjoys a high reputation in international charity. He shuttled between continents, learned about the needs of children in local countries, won the support of national leaders for the cause of children, and established extensive cooperation with local charities in various countries. At present, the countries where UNICEF conducts activities cover five continents.
