There are five insurances and one fund. Reimbursement of maternity benefits can be applied according to the maternity insurance regulations

The five insurances and one fund refer to several types of security benefits provided by employers to workers. Collectively, it includes pension insurance, medical insurance, unemployment insurance, work-related injury insurance and maternity insurance, as well as housing provident fund.

Female employees who give birth shall enjoy maternity leave in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations. Maternity allowance during maternity leave is calculated based on the average monthly salary of the company's employees in the previous year and is paid by the maternity insurance fund.

1. The examination fees, delivery fees, operation fees, hospitalization fees and medicine fees for female employees’ childbirth are paid by the maternity insurance fund. Medical service fees and drug fees (including self-paid drugs and nutritional drugs) that exceed the prescribed regulations shall be borne by the individual employees.

2. After a female employee is discharged from the hospital after giving birth, the medical expenses for diseases caused by childbirth shall be paid by the maternity insurance fund; the medical expenses for other diseases shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of medical insurance benefits. After the expiration of maternity leave, female employees who need rest and treatment due to illness shall be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions on sick leave benefits and medical insurance benefits.

3. After a female employee gives birth or has a miscarriage, she or her company must go to the local social insurance agency to handle the procedures with a family planning certificate issued by the local family planning department, and a certificate of birth, death or miscarriage. Receive maternity benefits and reimburse maternity medical expenses.
