What is the maturity date of closed-end funds?
Closed-end funds are liquidated according to the contract on the maturity date, and closed-end funds that expired in previous years are generally converted into open-end funds. Subscription fees can be waived. Using this rule, fund investors who intend to subscribe for new shares can consider buying closed-end funds that are about to expire in the secondary market and wait for them to be converted into open-end funds, thus saving a subscription fee.
