After 30 years of reform and opening up, contemporary China's sexual concept and morality have also undergone earth-shaking changes with the development of social economy, and an increasingly open sexual attitude has become the mainstream values. With the implementation of the national one-child policy and the improvement of people's living standards, many teenagers are precocious, ignorant of the concept of sex, even ignorant, especially college students, who are in a stage of strong physiological needs and full of curiosity about everything around them. Therefore, after 2000, the sexual behavior of young students is generally high, and the resulting diseases, cohabitation at school, early marriage, abortion and other behaviors have also aroused widespread concern.

The center takes the physical and mental education of teenagers, caring for the urban environment, curbing infectious diseases and expanding the popularization of infectious diseases knowledge as its main services. Through years of grassroots work, we have accumulated a large number of outstanding volunteers and summarized a set of methods suitable for college students' work, which has unique high-quality conditions in carrying out college students' disease prevention work.

In order to better carry out the work of college students, China Tongxin Volunteer Development Center and Beijing Youth Development Foundation jointly established Tongxin Development Foundation, so as to better carry out the popularization of disease prevention knowledge on campus.
