What are the consumer index funds?
1 Shanghai Consumer Index: Shanghai Consumer Index refers to 30 major consumer companies selected from Shanghai Stock Exchange. There is only one fund that tracks the index, and that is Huaxia Consumer ETF.
2 CSI main consumption index: CSI main consumption index mainly refers to the selection of 54 major consumer industry companies from the best 800 companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets. Its scope is wider than that of Shanghai Stock Exchange, involving Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
There are four funds tracking the index, namely Huitianfu CSI Consumer ET, Huitianfu CSI Consumer ETF Connection A, Harvest CSI Major Consumer ETF Connection A and Harvest CSI Major Consumer ETF Connection C..
3 CSI Major Consumer Dividend Index: The CSI Major Consumer Dividend Index is selected according to the dividend rate and is a strategic index. Its stock selection rule is to select the top 30 major consumer industry companies from Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets.
There are mainly three funds tracking this index, namely TEDA Consumer Dividend Index A, TEDA Consumer Dividend Index C and Founder Fubon Consumer Dividend Index Enhancement (LOF).
Official website, the CSI index, shows that the annualized returns of the three indexes are not much different. However, from the perspective of retracement, the retracement of consumer dividends is relatively small. If you want to be stable, you can choose the consumption dividend, but its long-term income will be slightly lower than the other two indexes.
