The ward mainly treats primary glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, interstitial nephritis, renal tubular diseases, various secondary glomerular diseases such as lupus nephritis, hypertensive nephropathy, diabetic nephropathy, gouty nephropathy, etc., urinary tract infections (including acute and chronic pyelonephritis and cystitis), acute and chronic renal failure caused by various reasons, and drug and poison poisoning. Our department is the first unit in Minhang District to carry out percutaneous renal biopsy guided by B-ultrasound, which has become a routine project at present.
