Can pig manure organic fertilizer be used for rice planting? Is pig manure organic fertilizer good for rice? How much worse than compound fertilizer? It is urgent.
The effects of pig manure compost combined with chemical fertilizer on rice yield and nitrogen efficiency were studied through field experiments. The results showed that under the experimental conditions, the combined application of pig manure compost and chemical fertilizer could significantly improve rice yield and increase the number of filled grains per panicle. Especially1500 kg hm-2 pig manure compost+chemical fertilizer treatment, the rice yield reached 8595 kg hm-2, which was 57.8% higher than that of no nitrogen fertilizer and 13.6% higher than that of chemical fertilizer treatment, and the difference reached a significant level. The nitrogen nutrition efficiency of rice treated with pig manure compost and chemical fertilizer is higher than that of chemical fertilizer treatment. The nitrogen recovery rate of pig manure compost combined with chemical fertilizer is 35.3%~38.6%, while that of chemical fertilizer treatment is only 27.6%.
