Article 8 The term "charitable organization" as mentioned in this Law refers to a non-profit organization that is established according to law, conforms to the provisions of this Law and conducts charitable activities for the society.

Article 9 A charitable organization shall meet the following conditions:

Those who meet the conditions of charitable organizations shall be identified and announced to the public; Those who do not meet the conditions of charitable organizations shall not be recognized, and the reasons shall be explained in writing.
There are special circumstances that need to extend the registration or identification period, which may be appropriately extended after approval by the civil affairs department of the State Council, but the extension period shall not exceed 60 days.
