The 13th (2020) China Economic Media Summit co-sponsored by China Economic Media Association and China Times was held on February 4th, 2020. The theme is "Getting rid of poverty: the temperature and power of media and enterprises". Dou Ruigang, Executive Secretary of Tencent Charity Foundation, attended and delivered a speech.

Dou Ruigang said in his speech that Tencent Foundation is a very standard enterprise foundation. Founded by Tencent, it was initiated in 2006 and officially approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs in 2007. As of today, Tencent has donated more than 6.4 billion yuan and its employees have donated more than 70 million yuan. We are a very, very standardized enterprise foundation, all funded by donations from companies and employees.

"Foundation So far, Tencent's foundation has donated 6.4 billion yuan, and our own exchange expenses are nearly 4.5 billion, of which poverty alleviation funds account for 90%. Up to today, hundreds of millions of Tencent netizens have participated in public welfare through Tencent's public welfare platform, and the accumulated donated funds exceed11500 million yuan, 90% of which are also used for poverty alleviation.
