The National Youth Fund is a fund established to support young scholars to carry out scientific research, mainly for young scholars under the age of 35. Article 7 of the "Notice on Printing and Distributing" stipulates that the scientific and technical personnel relying on the unit shall meet the following conditions when applying for the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars:

1, China nationality.

2. The applicant is under 45 years old on June 65438+1 October1day of the application year.

3. Have good scientific ethics.

4, with senior professional and technical positions (titles) or with a doctorate.

5. Experience in undertaking basic research projects or other basic research.

6. No formal employment relationship with overseas units.

7, to ensure that the funding period in the supporting units engaged in research work every year for more than 9 months.

8. Young scholars from China who do not have People's Republic of China (PRC) nationality may apply if they meet the conditions in Items (2) to (7) of the preceding paragraph.

9. Persons who are engaged in research at postdoctoral workstations, are studying for postgraduate degrees, and are funded by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars may not apply.
