The National Natural Science Foundation of China will grant funding in July. Funds are allocated in July each year based on relevant information. It takes about 5 months for a National Natural Science Foundation of China project to be completed from receipt to approval. The funding results for most of the project types received collectively will be announced in mid-to-late August of that year, and the remaining projects will be announced one after another based on the project review process. The funding results of projects in the non-centralized receiving period will be announced one after another in accordance with the guidelines and review processes issued by the Natural Science Foundation of China.
