Different examination subjects
Securities qualification examination subjects include general qualification examination subjects, professional qualification examination subjects and executive qualification examination subjects. The examination subjects for fund employment are divided into three subjects, of which subject 1, Fund Laws and Regulations, Professional Ethics and Business Norms, is a compulsory subject, and subject 2, Basic Knowledge of Securities Investment Funds and Subject 3, Basic Knowledge of Private Investment Funds, can be certified by passing one subject.
The validity period of grades is different.
The results of the securities qualification examination are valid for many years, and candidates can apply for it separately without having to repeat it. The validity period of the examination results of fund qualification is 4 years. Candidates who have passed the examination of "Basic Knowledge of Fund Sales" and have not worked in the relevant institutions for 4 years need to re-apply for the qualification examination of fund practice or make-up the follow-up study in the last two years, and then apply to the fund industry association for the qualification of registered fund sales through their institutions.
Both certificates are better.
At present, securities and fund business are inseparable, and the securities and fund business examinations are all entrance examinations to enter the financial industry, with low difficulty coefficient. If candidates' time and energy allow, it is recommended to take both certificates and choose more on the road to employment.
