SSAPA Fund The Shanghai Small Animal Protection Branch SSAPA Fund was officially established in October 2008.

The fund will fund animal protection work in the form of plans and projects under the collective and unified management of the board of directors, and will accept the supervision of donors in a transparent and public manner.

The nature of the SSAPA fund is a non-public, voluntary, mass self-help fund established within enterprises, organizations, and groups.

Similar to the Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan, each unit set up its own donation fund, and then the management team monitored its use and announced it to donors.

The SSAPA fund is currently managed by the Small Animal Protection Chapter Board of Directors and oversees its use.

This fund is mainly used to finance the development and promotion of approved projects, such as: sterilization, adoption and foster care projects for stray animals; public animal welfare publicity plans; volunteer training plans and temporary crisis management of emergencies, etc. It is generally not accepted

Application for individual assistance funding (except for special circumstances).

SSAPA advocates scientific rescue, rational rescue, and rescue within one's ability, advocates the first-rescue responsibility system, opposes the rescue method of "love belongs to oneself, and responsibility belongs to others", and rejects "begging" rescue.
