1982 1 month graduated from the mathematics department of Shandong university with a bachelor of science degree in computational mathematics. He graduated from the Department of Mathematics of Shandong University and the Department of Applied Mathematics of Beijing Institute of Technology, respectively, and obtained the Master of Science and Doctor of Science degrees. 1992 studied at Aarhus University, Denmark, and at Auckland University, New Zealand in 2000. Innovative research has been made in the theory and application of global optimization and multi-objective decision making. Completed a project of National Natural Science Foundation, and undertook the research project of global optimization method and application.
