The required funds are paid from the basic old-age insurance fund.
The collection process of funeral expenses is as follows:
1, carrying the household registration book, the deceased's ID card, two medical insurance cards and one card, and three receipts issued by the cremation hall to the deceased unit for file transfer;
2. If the file of the deceased is not in the original unit, the original unit will handle the green shift certificate according to the documents provided, and will leave one of the three receipts. If an individual who participates in the basic old-age insurance dies due to illness or non-work, his survivors can receive funeral grants and pensions;
3. You can transfer your personal files to the archives of the local labor and employment bureau with the green file transfer certificate;
4. After the file of the deceased was transferred out, at this time, there were two receipts left in hand. One of them is kept by himself, and the last receipt is taken to the community where the deceased is located, so that the community director can affix the circular seal of the community on the back of the receipt;
5. You can take the cremation certificate, stamped receipt, personal file and ID card of the deceased to the special funeral office of the social insurance company to settle the one-time funeral subsidy.
Legal basis: Article 37 of the Regulations on Industrial Injury Insurance.
Workers died at work, their immediate family members receive funeral subsidies, dependent relatives' pensions and one-time work-related death subsidies from the industrial injury insurance fund in accordance with the following provisions:
(a) the funeral subsidy is the average monthly salary of employees in the overall planning area for 6 months;
(2) The pension for supporting relatives shall be paid to the relatives who provided the main source of livelihood before the death of the employee and were unable to work because of work according to a certain proportion of the employee's salary. The standard is: spouse 40%, other relatives 30%, widowed elderly or orphans 10%. The total approved pension of dependent relatives should not be higher than the salary of employees who died at work. The specific scope of supporting relatives shall be stipulated by the administrative department of labor security of the State Council;
(three) the standard of one-time work death subsidy is the average monthly salary of employees in the overall planning area for 48 months to 60 months. Specific standards shall be formulated by the people's government of the overall planning area according to the local economic and social development and submitted to the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government for the record.
