Following the launch of the first batch of two cross-border ETFs last week-Huaxia Hang Seng ETF and E Fund H-share ETF, on Wednesday, their linked funds were also issued simultaneously through major banking channels.

Insiders pointed out that since ETF is listed and traded on the exchange, ordinary investors can't buy it through banks, and connecting funds provides a convenient way for it. It is reported that more than 90% of the fund assets of Huaxia Hang Seng ETF Link Fund are invested in Huaxia Hang Seng ETF, and more than 95% of the fund assets of E Fund H-share ETF Link Fund are invested in E Fund H-share ETF.

It is worth mentioning that the two ETF-linked funds have increased the way of buying dollars, providing new financial channels for investors who hold idle funds in dollars. Take Huaxia Hang Seng ETF Link Fund as an example. For the fund shares subscribed in US dollars, the selling price in US dollars shall be determined according to the exchange rate of RMB against US dollars on the last day of raising, and the subscribed shares shall be calculated accordingly. In addition, investors who buy the fund in US dollars will also enjoy preferential rates. During the subscription period and within one year after the subscription, the subscription in US dollars is free.
