Code of administrative division of registration authority: it can only be expressed in Arabic numerals. According to GB/T 2260 coding.

Subject identification code (organization code): expressed in Arabic numerals or English capital letters. According to GB 1 17 14.

Before the implementation of the unified social credit code, the organization code on the previous organization code certificate consisted of 9 characters. The format is xxxxxxxx-Y. The first eight digits are called "ontology code"; The last bit is called "check code". The check code and the ontology code are connected by a hyphen (-). So that people can easily see the check code. However, after the integration of the three certificates, all nine characters of the organization are included in the 9th to17th digits of the unified social credit code, and the hyphen on the original organization code is not included in the unified social credit code.
