The 503rd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army used Mk 14 enhanced combat rifle when fighting in Afghanistan, which was shot in September 20 10.

In 2003, Ron Smith and Smith Enterprises Inc developed their version of M 14 enhanced combat rifle (also known as Mk 14 SEI Mod 0). [9] This design is more popular for rifles developed by Biloch and Liberty. At that time, Smith Enterprise Company was based on Mk 14, and finally developed Mk 14 Mod 0 together with Springfield Armory, Inc. They were responsible for providing necessary machines and developing weapons together with the crane branch of the naval surface warfare center. [2][ 10]
In 2004, US Navy SEALs became the first US Army equipped with Mk 14 Mod 0 enhanced combat rifles, and the second was the US Coast Guard inspired by them. [2] The US Army is also equipped with Mk 14 Mod 0 enhanced combat rifles. The Mk 14 Mod 0 enhanced combat rifle adopts the standard M 14 bolt and barrel parts, and adds a telescopic stock, [6] pistol grip, [1 1] sights with different designs, Harris bipod and [1/kloc-] around the barrel.
