Lin Yu, male, born in October 1984, Ph.D., associate professor at School of Mathematics, South China University of Technology.
In 2018, he won the third prize in the science group of the National College Young Teacher Teaching Competition, the first place in the 4th Guangdong Province College Young Teacher Teaching Competition (Science Group), and in 2017, he won the first place in the South China Division of the 3rd National College Mathematics Micro-Course Teaching Design Competition.
First prize, second prize in the South China University of Technology Young Teachers Undergraduate Teaching Competition in the 2017-2018 academic year, and was named an Outstanding Communist Party Member of South China University of Technology in 2018.
Teacher Lin Yu has been engaged in teaching basic courses for undergraduate students, teaching courses such as "Calculus", "Basic Calculus", and "Mathematical Physics Equations".
He actively devotes himself to teaching, and his teaching results have been widely praised by students. He has been in the top 10% of the school for seven consecutive semesters in the undergraduate teacher classroom teaching quality evaluation, and won the South China University of Technology Teaching Excellence Award in 2019.
He has presided over many scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation and the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and published more than 10 academic papers.
In his work, he actively plays the vanguard and exemplary role of party members and insists on cultivating people with moral integrity as a central link. He was awarded the outstanding undergraduate class teacher of the School of Mathematics in 2014 and 2016.
