Shi Gan Xing Jing is an astronomical monograph, which consists of eight volumes of Gan Jing and sixteen volumes of Shi Jing, and was roughly written in the Warring States Period. Shi Gan Jing is a combination of these two books. During the Warring States Period, the Chu people Gande and wei ren Shi Shenfu wrote Tian Wen Star Wars and Astronomy respectively. Han Shu Fa Ji combined the two books into one and named it Shi Gan Jing.
