Graduated from the Department of Metal Materials and Technology of Harbin Institute of Technology in 1991.

Received a doctorate in materials processing from Beijing University of Technology in 2002, and stayed at the school to teach in the same year.

Mainly engaged in research on digital welding power sources, involving arc welding technology, power electronics technology, embedded system applications, industrial automatic control and other multi-disciplinary fields.

Mainly responsible for undertaking 2 Beijing fund projects and 3 horizontal scientific research projects.

Has published more than 10 papers in various academic journals and conferences.

Main scientific research directions: research on digitally controlled arc welding inverter power supply, research on digitally controlled stud welding equipment, research and application of automatic welding systems
