After the reform and opening up, Huang Zhongxian generously donated money to build more than 50 buildings and village road projects with a total area of 6.5438+0.2 million square meters, benefiting more than 20 primary and secondary schools, kindergartens and hospitals. From 65438 to 0990, China and Huang Zhongxian resumed diplomatic relations, which was also a watershed year for's charity. This year, Huang Zhongxian founded the "Nanhuang Anzhongxian Education Foundation" and began to turn charity from his amateur activities into a career; Before that, Huang Zhongxian's charity was mainly based on hardware donation, but after the 1990s, Huang Zhongxian thought that the problem was basically solved by hardware, and the direction of public welfare activities shifted to helping poor students, and began to carry out lasting scholarship activities.

From 65438 to 0993, Huang Zhongxian donated 20 million yuan to build "Nan 'an Bilida Building" in Nan 'an, and donated "Xiamen Bilida Building" in Xiamen the following year, taking the income from the two buildings as the source of funds for the continuous operation of the Foundation.

Around 2000, Huang Zhongxian sold all his Indonesian property and settled in Xiamen. Two years later, considering that his financial resources are almost all the sources of the foundation, and if his inheritance is inherited by relatives after his death, the foundation will be in danger of collapse, so Huang Zhongxian made a will in the notary office:

"After the completion of Xiamen Bilida Building, which I built alone, I shall not sell, mortgage, transfer or rebuild it, and all its property rights and income will be the permanent property of Huang Zhongxian Science and Education Foundation (in preparation, it was renamed Fujian Huang Zhongxian Education Foundation after it was officially registered in September 2004, reporter's note). All my legal heirs shall not claim any rights and interests in Xiamen Bilida Building after my death; Nor does it require inheritance or division of this property. "

Since then, in order to ensure foolproof, he mobilized his wife and children to sign a statement, in which his wife Dai Ziyuan's statement read:

"I (Dai Ziyuan) am the only lawful wife in Huang Zhongxian. My husband decided to take all the property rights and income rights of Xiamen Bilida Building built by him as the permanent property of Huang Zhongxian Science and Education Fund and hand it over to the manager of Huang Zhongxian Science and Education Welfare Fund for management and operation. I totally agree and have no objection. I sincerely hope and demand that all legal heirs and fund managers in Huang Zhongxian will strictly follow Mr. Huang Zhongxian's will in the future, so that Mr. Huang Zhongxian's long-cherished wish can be fully realized. "

In 2003, Huang Zhongxian was seriously ill. After his recovery, Huang Zhongxian accelerated the transfer of his property to the Foundation.

After Huang Zhongxian Foundation was officially registered in Fujian Civil Affairs Department in 2004, Huang Zhongxian officially transferred two properties, Nan 'an Bilida Building and Xiamen Bilida Building, to the Foundation in August 2005 and August 2006, respectively.

On February 3, 2005, Huang Zhongxian donated his 60 mu of land in Nan 'an and his deposit of more than 8 million yuan to the Foundation.

On April 20th, 2006, together with four other directors of the Foundation (Xu Jimei, Huang, Huang Xiangjiang and Lin Zaifa), they signed the transfer document with China Bank in Hong Kong, and sold the 1 1000 gold in time. All the proceeds of HK$ 64.58 million were deposited in the foreign exchange account of Huang Zhongxian Foundation, and it was agreed that "the use of this money must be among five directors.

So far, all assets donated by Huang Zhongxian to the Huang Zhongxian Foundation have been legally handed over. Huang Zhongxian ended his status as a rich man and turned to a milestone in charity.
